Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data Trawlly (operated by hakeemi-tech, India) collects and why.
1. What we collect
- Account data: email address and a salted bcrypt hash of your password. We never store plain passwords.
- Usage data: monthly counters of pages fetched, jobs created and API calls, used to enforce plan quotas.
- Billing data: handled entirely by Razorpay (our payment processor). We store only your plan name and subscription status — never card numbers or bank details.
- Operational logs: request metadata such as timestamps and status codes, kept for reliability and abuse prevention.
2. Scraped content
Pages fetched through the API are processed on your behalf and returned to you. We retain short-lived fingerprints (hashes) of results for scheduled jobs purely to detect changes. We do not sell scraped data and do not build user profiles from it.
3. Why we process data (legal bases)
To provide the contracted service (account management, quota metering, billing); to secure the platform (legitimate interest); and where required, with your consent.
4. Sharing
We share only what is necessary with: Razorpay (payments — your email is shared to link your subscription), and our hosting provider (infrastructure). We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data if legally compelled.
5. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. On written deletion request we remove account data within 30 days, except records we must keep for accounting/tax or dispute purposes.
6. Security
Passwords hashed (bcrypt), API keys stored hashed, secrets isolated server-side, TLS enforced on all traffic, least-privilege database roles.
7. Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your data, or object to processing, by emailing hakeemi5372@gmail.com.
8. Cookies & tracking
The API uses no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. Session tokens are bearer credentials, not cookies.
9. Changes
Material changes to this policy will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date.
